Our traditional chapel is located in the heart of San Pedro, with stunning ocean and harbor views. Built in 1954, our campus still retains much of its mid-century charm with multiple stained glass windows and high vaulted ceilings.

At Jump for Joy Events, we offer a variety of event planning services to fit your needs and budget. From full-service planning where we handle every aspect of the event to "venue rental only" where you are in complete control of your event.

Basic Services- You are in charge!

For more budget-minded events, Jump for Joy puts you in the driver's seat. You will have access to our beautiful facility, where you get to provide everything to fit your needs perfectly. You are free to decorate as you see fit and bring your own food and drinks to fit your unique tastes. This is a wonderful option for people who want total control of their special event. 

Convenience- Let us do the work!

We offer a variety of event planning services, access to local caterers, access to quality floral design, decorations, and event coordination. We take care of every detail, so you can relax and enjoy your event.

Location Amenities

For your convenience, our campus is located near many hotels, Los Angeles and Long Beach cruise terminals, LAX and Long Beach Airports, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and much more. Our facility offers ample parking spaces for your guests. We have multiple on-site photograph locations to capture your special day. You also have access to a prep kitchen to get your meal ready for service, space for your preferred caterers, or food truck. For your convenience, we have tables, chairs, linens, canopies, and decorations available for rent or purchase. We can assist you with as much or as little as you wish.

    1. Schedule a tour of our facility.
    2. Fill out the application and sign the agreement.
    3. The security deposit is $1000. The balance must be paid four months before the event date.
    4. Insurance- You must provide a certificate of insurance for ALL outside vendors. However, if you are using Jump for Joy services, you don't need to provide a certificate of insurance.
    5. Prior to the event, we will work with you to allow ample access to set up and decorate for your event.
    6. On the day of the event, you are allowed six hours of event time (this does not include set up and break down times).
    7. The security deposit refund will be issued after the facility is cleaned and ready for the next event. Please note that refunds can take up to several weeks to process. and sign the agreement


    Yes, we specialize in creating custom event themes to match your vision and style. Whether you want a tropical beach party or a vintage-inspired wedding, we can help bring your ideas to life.


    At Jump for Joy Events, we understand that every event is unique. That's why we offer a wide range of food and drink options. Whether you prefer a potluck-style gathering or a fully catered affair, we can tailor our services to meet your needs. We have a network of local caterers, food trucks, bartenders, and restaurants ready to assist you. Additionally, we provide rental services for large BBQs, catering supplies, serving dishes, and more, giving you the flexibility to create the perfect menu for your event. 

    Food Trucks- Yes, food trucks are allowed.

    Alcohol- Yes, alcohol is allowed OUTDOORS at our venue. You can provide your own drinks, or you can contract with Jump for Joy Events or other vendors. The following guidelines must be followed:

    • You must adhere to all local and state guidelines
    • You cannot charge a fee (drinks must be free to guests)
    • No tip jars if you are providing your own drinks
    • If alcohol is being served, security is required (one guard per 100 guests, rates vary from $95-$150 per hour)
